Why does Religion have to Limit our life so much? It seems all religion does is forbid. Why should we live such a Limited life that revolves around the "rules" and "laws" of the church? What good is free-will if it is stripped from us the the very God that gave it to us?

Life is too short: We have to live it, get body piercings, tattoos, make love to the woman you love even if it is before marriage, see the world, and live OUR life, not the life the church wants us to live.

God can still be in our hearts. We do not have to follow some "rules" or "laws" that were in "fact" modified by the church to their liking. As long as we aren't hurting anyone, we must have the right to Live.

Yes, now that i'm older and have lived a christian life for many years "by the rules", I wonder about this too. I mean God must understand human nature, why did he even make us humans if we're supposed to "give it all up" for the hope of heaven. Also what about the "abundant life" that's promised , some abundance if you live by the rules, you get a lot of suffering and pain though. i also think a lot of the church people are pretending to be a lot happier and content than they really are because they know they're supposed to be.

Only if you let it restrict you. You're life is you're own, and life is what you make it yourself
