This is one of many reasons why our government needs to send all the illegals back to where they came from, hopefully they will deport her and make her pay back the hospital too. Sorry to be so harsh, but illegal immigration is one of the things that gets my shorts in a twist.

Your friend should be put into an unpaid workcamp which we dont have but should and spend the rest of her life doing hard manual labor or at least until her debt is paid then she should be tossed right out of the country

She could always go back to where she came from. Just another reason my health insurance coverage is so high. Unbelieveable. Hopefully they will knock at her door and realize she is illegal and deport right now. Sheesh.

maybe she can ask the hospital to set up a payment plan for her. Then that way she does not have to pay it all at once and still pay back her debt and not be afraid of what's going to happen.

What would happen to your friend? Probably nothing.
However, you and me.... we'd be sued, we'd have to declare bankruptsy, our property forclosed on, our credit rating ruined forever... or well, at least 7 years, thats just for starters... etc. And certainly not least.. .our insurance and health care costs would sky rocket to pay for .... your friends hospital bills.

What she should do is go back where she came from. The worse thing they can do is get a judgment against her for the money which she will never be able to pay and again the tax payers will have to pick up the tab. Tell her to go home. It will be one less person I have to support.
