I just moved to the Bay Area. I didn't have any friends here, but I did manage to reconnect with some college acquaintances that I was not very close with in school, and am now slowly becoming a part of a circle of friends and friends' friends/acquaintances. We have gone out together on a few occasions to clubs and bars.
Within this loose collection of people, I've found myself attracted to two of them. I told these two females, on two separate occasions, shortly after meeting them, that I thought they were cute (the first actually initiated and told ME I was cute first). However, while at the club (again, two totally separate incidents), both have asked me: "Do you see anyone you think is cute? I'll help you out..."
Is this their way of telling me they are not interested? This is not the first time I've experienced this, but hearing it from two women who I just met--and don't know each other-- in the span of three months is making me wonder if something is wrong with me...

Theres nothing wrong with you, you are just not for them, sorry but yes I think it was their way of saying I like you, you are cute, but not the one for me, don't worry , she's out there somewhere.

I would have to say that if you two had been dancing most all night together, she is at least interested in you. But that response has me curious. I have always found that when asked to do something, and if the woman is interested, the response would be YES or SURE, or of the like... But for her to just say "we'll see" is not a bad or good thing, but I would lean toward not as good as it could be. I still think you have a chance for this potential date though. If she meets up with you for that coffee date, you are going to have to be in your best foot forward mode if your trying to spark anything with her on a permanent or long term basis. If you two do actually meet up, I would suggest you make the conversation very interesting and show GENUINE interest in what she has to say and don't be afraid to ask about her and her interests. This will show her that you are for real and wish to "know" her and that you are not just trying to add a notch in your lady list. I wish you luck with this particular lady :-)

Nope, nothing wrong--you just have a lousy approach. You should have asked one of them out like a man. The conversation sounds like junior high school. You shouldn't have any trouble in San Francisco--the women are crawling around out there in big numbers--dress nice, look sharp, talk nice and fine tune your approach---and do it by yourself...forget those two--it's too late.Happy hunting.

I think they want to know wether there is someone that you're attracted at, dont give up. You can try a better approach with one of them or both if they dont know each other

To relocate !

Or maybe , to park your car !

Anyway , you don't reconnect "with" . . .

You just reconnect "TO" !

And why don't you just ask a girl out ?

Look into her eyes and just ask . . .

She is not gonna kill you for that !
Good luck !

It means: "I wouldn't touch you with a barge pole, but I'd love to swap stories about your sexual prowess with a girlfriend."
