Would you consider a third option? Based on my research and personal experience you are better off with no milk at all.

There are only two reasons which I've found to support humans drinking cow's milk. We have grown up hearing that it's good for us and we've grown accustomed to the taste and texture. Otherwise there is absolutely no nutrition that can not be obtained elsewhere, minus the negatives. Calcium seems to be the major claim for milk. It can be found elsewhere in green vegetables, almonds, and many other sources. Why we continue to drink cow's milk laced with growth hormones (causing you to get fat), antibiotics, and who knows what else is beyond me.

Since I've given up drinking milk about 5 years ago my health has greatly improved. Fewer allergy problems, asthma and breathing problems greatly reduced, I'm sleeping better, and I have more energy.

Do some research online and decide for yourself.

for 155cm and 43kg you are actually underweight, 50kg is a healthy weight for someone 155cm. No a teenager should not drink low fat or skim milk, you should only begin drinking low fat milk and such things after the age of 25 and stop at the age of 40.
Before 25 you are still needing to absorb all the nutrients and calcium in things such as full cream milk and other non low fat products like yogurt to keep your bones strong and your body healthy along with those fat reserves you will stop burning them off when you hit 25 until then your body will need them. Once past 40 your body will begin to break down and need those reserves found in non low in fat products.

Low fat and/or skimmed milk is ordinary full milk from which fat has been removed. The calcium content remains the same.

Milk is meant for the consumption of the calves and not other species of animals including humans.

Yep, what she said, go for the low fat. I'll tell you why though. That way you're informed and not making mindless selections because he said or she said. Teenagers and children in general have loads of growth spurts. Therefore you need all the extra bone building and energy providing vitamins and minerals you can get. Calcium is essential for growing bones, peace and stability of moods and a sound nights sleep. Make sure you get plenty of Vit D. as well. Vitamin D is essential for the proper absorption of Calcium. (Sunshine or fish oil tablets). Iron will give you plenty of the energy you are just jumping and ready to burn off. Make sure you get plenty of Vitamin C. which is essential for the proper absorption of iron.Vit.A. (pumpkin, carrots) E( perhaps a hair skin and nails supplement), and the B Vitamins (A good multivitamin B complex tablet).

Sounds too hard??? Just go to you local chemist and speak to the pharmacist. Simply tell him you need sugarless Vit. C. tablets, a good Multivitamin B complex tablet and a hair skin and nails tablet (Vits. A & E.)

CHEERS

Hope I didn't rabble too much............ good luck...........

When boredom, depression, or stress causes cravings, find a nonfood way to meet up with them such as going for a walk, calling a friend, getting a bath, reading a book, or perhaps doing some yoga.
