That is messed up. I know she wants the best for you but there comes a point where you want to start doing bad because of her. You need to have a serious conversation with her. Express to her what is does to you when you have to meet such high expiation's.

yes it is true that pressuring will make u feel depressed But don't be so depressed see the other side of this .
Ur mother is for ur good She might have experience that if her negligence she must have lost some thing . That is y she wants u to keep u on toes. so that Ur life will never get some sort of inferior sense. she knows Ur talent & she will not mind if u are not at top . But she wants u to struggle & try & try till u succeed & after u have succeed then it is very hard to keep the possition so work hard to keep it.
but once be true to ur mother about it . it might help u & her to understand u

That's wrong. It sems your mother is more worried about telling her friends yiu're a good student that about you. You must have a heart to heart talk to her and explain how you feel.

Don't know your mother.... But maybe she's just trying to get you to put out the best effort....to work your hardest. You should love her for it.... (even if it's annoying as hell!). Your bests interests are at heart here......TRY to think of her as a coach.....
