You call it like you see it. That's the best any of us can do.

Most of the times, there is nothing true/false (when nature is not the subject like Sun rises from the East).

It's just a matter of opinion and preference.

You don't.......part of the cycle of life is to sort the wheat from the chaff!........ Really it's not that difficult, there are so many channels of information available....it comes down to educating yourself and then making an "informed" decision on what you personally believe to be true or false.

That's why God sent the Holy Spirit, it is the Spirit of truth. It convicts you to knowing what is true and what is false.

This is a very good question.
How can a (1COR.3:18-19)deceived person know that they're being deceived unless they are deceived. As the christian era grows; there are getting more and more false religions and prophets; how can we tell which one's are false and which one's are true.
Very simple: Most(Matt.7:13) of the people are following the crowd's teachings that are leading people away from (COL.2:8; PHIL.2:21)Christ and the truth. What is truth? There's three truths:
1. JESUS CHRIST IS TRUTH = JN.14:6; 1COR.3:11; EPH.4:21

2. BIBLE IS TRUTH from GENESIS TO REVELATION = JN.17:17
3. 10 COMMANDMENTS (the law) ARE TRUTH = PS.119:142

If people are leading you away from these; then you know they are false. Most be wise in their own (ROM.12:16; ROM.10:3) (interpetations)conceits too to trick people just enough that they believe it instead of letting God's spirit (JAMES 1:5; 1PET.1:19-21; JN.14:15-26)lead them into truth.

1. Jesus Christ kept all of his (EXODUS 20:1-17)father's commandments including the Sabbath Saturday. (JN.14:15;15:10; 1JN.2:3)(LUKE 4:16; JN.4:22-24; REV.14:7,12 ) He also kept the feast days in Lev.23. (MARK 14:1,12; JN.7:2,10-14; ROM.5:11)

2. We supposed to live by every word = MATT.4:4; LUKE 4:4; MATT.7:21; 1JN.2:17
3. Now if the crowd speaks of saying the 10 commandments are "done away with" aren't they false?
What about saying the Sabbath is no longer valid, or saying it doesn't matter which day to keep, or saying we chose Sunday instead of Saturday because we're not Jewish or that Jesus rose on Sunday that's why we keep Sunday; aren't people trying to void the issue by drawing people away from the 10 commandments and Jesus. This is what is false; saying things they don't know about(1TIM.1:7; MATT.15:9; 1JN.2:4).
***************************************************************
Now as being a christian; I was fooled like many other christians.
I was a Sunday keeper almost all my life, but then I was getting discouraged and felt uncomfortable. So I asked God at one time: "Out of all these Sunday churches which one is your's Lord?" At this time I didn't know they're were Saturday churches out there! At that moment God was telling me something with the days as I was calling on them(Sunday=Sunny Day; Monday=Money Day, but in conclusion it was the sun god Sunday and the moon god Monday): but I didn't understand then. As time went on: I received a brochure about a seminar from a church that talked about who is the Beast of Revelation. I was curious (1JN.4:1 = "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.")so I went. As I was listening they were telling me some (1COR.3:1-3; JN.3:21; 14:15-26; 16:13)truth of the Bible. I thought at the time that this was God's Church as they claimed. But being in that church for 6-1/2 years, I learned they were contradicting the Word so I went to God again. I asked Him; "they're contradicting your Word; What do you want me to do Lord?" So He (2TIM.1:9; MATT.22:14; 1COR.1:25-26)called me out of this church and into His Church(EPH.4:4; 5:27; ACTS 20:28). As being in His Church; I have discovered more things I didn't know. Also I still learn from other religions on how they're different or how they confuse people with their (EPH.4:14)doctrines. I know good and evil(HEB.5:14) because I've been through it and experienced it. I wished people weren't so one sided. I was brought up there's two sides to a story, if you don't hear the other side or experience it; how will you know? Are you going to let others influence your decision or are people going to take a chance to see if they're right or wrong.

You know by looking at FACTS. Not opinions. "Know the Word of God...." Good answer, nobody's EVER been wrong who knew the word of god, eh? The inquisition was never wrong...the Pope was DEFINATELY right for not getting involved in that nasty "holocaust" mess...You want the truth, you look at hard facts. "There's a rock on the ground in front of me" is a fact...."God put that rock there" is not....one of those statements can be proven....one can't.
