I have a tattoo on my ankle, it is two small hearts with some black swirls and curls around them.
Will colours (ie red, purple blue etc) cover the black outlines?
Or will only black cover the black outline?

a good artist will be able to disguise the black. i deep purple will hide the black in a way so that nobody will be able to tell. maybe not red, a deep maroon would work. and a deep blue. the best thing to do is find a good tattoo artist. don't just go to the first place you come to and get a coverup. not all tattoo artists are good at covering other work. ask to see pictures of coverups that they have done.

They can do some really good cover up work these days but I'm not sure about colours covering black. There is always laser treatment or bleaching. Get some advice from your local tattoo artist and good luck....I've got a couple I wouldn't mind covering up myself.
