This is a complicated question with many complicated answers. For starters, leaders come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. It would serve our country a disservice if we have a nation led only by our youth...there is much to learn from the generation that stood in front of us. Congress seats hold an age requirement of 25 and the Senate age requirement is 30. Anyone holding this minimum age requirement is entitled to run and serve. The rest of it is up to us, the voting public.
Generation X and the Y Generation have been more focused on academics as opposed to politics, which may explain the median age of our House being nearly 60 years old. As a X-er myself, we have been too busy studying for exams and/or reaching for the stars to meet our own personal financial goals (the American dream) to truly involve ourselves in our country's state of affairs.
The baby boomers have fought for many worthy, provoking causes that have essentially changed history. They burned bras in effort to achieve sexual equality, they were drafted, and they were directly behind the front to abolish segregation and instill civil rights. They buried a President. Moreover, they ADVERSELY and ACTIVELY opposed the war in Vietnam. They refused to accept what their government silver-spoon fed them. They had guts.
What have we accomplished? I mean this as gently as possible considering I am 32, but truly, what have we done? What have we fought for? Are we standing up for our troops? Are we unified on any subject? We are smarter, but it is a technology-driven intelligence. We need to work on the spirtitual part...the drive to make a difference. The drive to stand up and say NO MORE JELLO FOR ME MOM! Until then, and I hate to say it, this country is better in the hands of the baby boomers.

In present political scenario youth sees, What is happened sou rending of his daily life from village level to the national level in the politic es. It is very difficult for clean image man to contest a election of village level. every where decision is effected by money, mussel &, cast politices. He is well aware from mall practises have taken place through verious media sources. If some body make a dearing to fight againest these bad systems. There is not a garrunty he will win the election. If some body cross all this bariers there is not constincy of his vectory next time he will win the election.
Upto 30 years many youth have a dream for a good citizan of our country. But when he sees fact his helecaptor raech to the ground reality.
20 years back on present senario one by weekly some body has asked question "If today Mathma Gandhi take birth in our country which party he has to join?"
Answer given by editor was as below.
"where are you Mr. He has to start from South Africa."

Cause they don't really know what it takes to run the nation. Like, think of a problem you have, now times it by a million. Can you really take on all those burdens and put things in reasonable order w/out getting overwhelmed and coming to resolutions that will make everyone happy? If they can step up to the plate, then they can try. But most can't.

As obnoxious as this sounds, I've been expecting it.
Baby boomers are making a mess of things by doing nothing but fighting each other, and I'm sure it's making the young people sick to their stomachs.
On the other hand, the younger generations grew up independant as "latchkey" kids and as technologically advanced in comparison to their parents and better able to handle the modern world with more adeptness.
It's only a matter of time until they just kick us out of the way.
Beware an old wise saying: "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill!"

Well truely speaking no one has really stopped the young generation from taking the power into their hands but its the young ppl themselves who refrain from coming into active politics. No one is gonna come to ur house n give u the power to rule its u who has to come out n start making the changes. And do remember that even though the young have the potential to run the nation they lack experience and hence require guidance from the seniors..
Thank You!!
Keep Smiling!!

Our youngsters require GUTS to marry the girl they LOVE, to do the job they like and study the course they like.indian males are mostly mamas boys and will do what their parents tell them to do.They know they can run the nation on the pedigree and no hardwork is required. So they wait like ambani kids to run their political business which can come only when their oldman goes to heaven!!!!we are a feudal society. it may have young leaders if opportunity comes due to unnatural deaths like in case of rajiv.

Because the old generation wants to decide how the young generation must be needs to live;
The Old generation has to mortgage the country and the young generation has to sweat it out!

Its not childrens play. The old generation is retired and tired of it. The young generation can smell the pleasure and fitness of sex; mentally physically and emotionally. So the young generation love to have sex.
