It means crying and laughing, ups an downs, dealing with whatever comes along. Simply make the most of it for life to mean something to you.

This world has a potential for us to develop into
fulfilling activities and relationships but currently it is still
structurally messed up - e.g. sickness, death, human greed and
violence. We have to work to make the most of things, making
life fulfilling for ourselves and others, growing through the
challenges. Those of us with faith perceive God's goodness
despite the hard aspects of life, and different religions suggest
good attitudes and behaviour, sometimes in a pretty flawed
way.
Ulimately in my view, which is christian, this is a shadowy
existence now, but we are challenged to make something
substantial of our lives.
The whole thing is going to be re-created someday to be
a wonderful place of great relationships and activities, with no
fear and lack, with the loving presence of God everywhere.
Of course, from a christian point of view, you do need to
get your sin dealt with, as Jesus is very willing to take it and
pay for it, for all who believe.
There are things you can do now that are fulfilling,
that we wont be able to do later; challenges where there is
adversity but a sense of fulfilment on achieving success.
There are also many pleasures we get as part of the ride.

The meaning of life is to make the most of the time we have. To care for our love ones, to breed the next gereation, and to ensure that they do better than we have, and to see the previous generation leave our world with pride and dignity.

hi. yes, i've been asking on myself the same question as you questioned here. well, we as humans, always looking forward to have a great and wonderful life., but what should we do in order to provide a better and meaningful life? therefore, we should learn to respect, love and be grateful on what we are having now. we will face a meaningful live if everyone living harmony in the world. helping others bring good karma in life. broden your mind an thinking and you will surely lead to a right pathway. helping the poor an educate the rich. speak good words, make good deeds and everyday is a good day in your life. Each day of my life is a new page, and every person and event is a living story.

I've been waiting for some complete and utter dork with nothing better to do to ask this question and to give me what I would call my undisputedly best response of asking you just where were you when god was handing out the package which was entitled, and lets not hit every branch on the ugly tree shall we, don't ask pathetic questions that you have no sencere reason for asking them in the first place.
