I guess we can't stop it unless we will also stop antropogwnic activities that contribute to global warming. I think all we can do now is to prevent it in order to minimize global warming.

Sadly no. Any measure we take will be undone by increased population. Say we reduce all the things that cause global warming by 50% GREAT! Until the population is doubled and we are back to were we started only worse.

Every activity that is accused of contributing to the problem will increase exponentially as the population these activities serve increases exponentially. So no We cannot stop global warming.

Can it be stopped? yes. How long would it take? Well, the late Carl Sagan said in his book Pale Blue Dot that if we stopped absolutely everything non-natural [i.e. man made] that was a contributing factor to global warming right NOW, it would take over a hundred years for the planet to heal itself. The book is now several years old, so who knows what the new estimate would be.

The environmentalist have tied global warming to CO2 ,well that is a problem as the plants take care of the CO2 . So if the CO2 is not there neither is global warming.

Yes, we can. If 'global warming' is a fact. It is not from burning fuels on the surface of the Earth. And if CO2 is the culprit, then CO2 is being produced at high altitudes where nature has no means to remove it. Jet fuel(kerosene) is being carried up to above 30,000 ft by jet planes and burned up there. Jet engines burn 2-5 tons of fuel/hr. Each ton produces 3.66 tons of CO2. As all carbon based fuels do. Thousands of hours of jet traffic each day over the Earth. CO2 is heavier than air so it will slowly settle down to where growing plants can take it up instantly upon contact.
ANSWER: Reduce jet traffic world wide. Build bullet trains, mag-lev trains, hovercraft lanes, tunnel trains, .... faster surface transport. Use internet connections.

No we can't. People didn't cause it, they can't stop it. It is caused by solar cycles. It has happened before. We are along for the ride for this one. You asked this before also.
