Conditions - Cephalic presentation, baby healthy, mother healthy, fluid adequate, foetal head : 9.5 cms. Is Caesarean a must in this case?? Please help.

i dont think so.. but it depends on the structure of your pelvis.. the cervix will be able to accomodate the head of the baby since it can dilate up to 10cm..

who told you that a C-section is indicated? cesarean delivery is indicated most commonly if there is a cephalopelvic disproportion.. meaning your pelvis will not be able to accomodate the passage of the baby.. so i assume that your obgyn noted that problem..

What are the mother's pelvic measurements? You left out the most important reason for most C sections.
