I am a Jehovahs Witness your right i wanted to know what others had to say about this and this is my own thinking thank you very much. someone said it has been proven he died on a cross i would like to see that proof. Yes Jesus is not god but his son and yes he is an angel the first angel god created. If Jesus was god why would he say "This is my son the beloved whom I have approved" when john baptized him Mathew 3:17

if you believe in the trinity then obviously your catholic right? catholic church along with many others have changed the bible to fit what they want it to say including the scripture you are quoting which proved the trinity wrong before they changed it which is; 1 John 1 in the beginingth word was, and the word was WITH god, and the word was A god 2 this one was in the beginning with god
therefore Jesus is not god himself but because god is god and jesus is his son jesus is A god just as if you were to have son you are human therefore your son is human but not you. Genesis 1:26 and god went on tosay let us make man in our imageaccording to our likenessand let them have in subjection the fish in the sea ...This does not prove the trinity all it shows is that Jesus truly was there in an angelic form he was Jehovahs helper his first son then later was born to mary as a mortal human and now he is once again in heaven in an angelic form waiting for jehovahs day to come

Genesis 2:7 says and Jehovah god proceeded to form the manout of dust from the groundand to blow into his nostrils the breath of life and the man came to be a living soul it isnt until verse 21 that jehovah strted creating woman at which time he put the man to sleep and and toook a rib and created women with it. This doesnt prove anything for you either god gave him breath of life which caused him to become a living soul not holy spirit

In total agreement. A cross is a idol. Even if Jesus was crucified on a cross, I can not see the logic on why people would want to wear a symbol of something that killed their Savior. If my son was a famous well liked person and got murdered with a gun, I would HATE to see people wearing the very thing that killed my son. Just thinking what God must think and how he feels about it. But he gave us a command. No idols. Weather people worship it or not, it is still a idol.

Its great to understand what we love to talk about the most and its even more awsum to learn something new everyday. The Bible does suggest that both Jesus hands were nailed, which implies he was nailed to a cross. Some books reads: he hung on a tree, which also implies he hung on a cross not by a rope but nails were driven through his hands and his feet.
Its not with the intention of idolising the cross but that 'the love that was expressed on it and the blood that was shed for many.'
be understood 'After a shameful death, Jesus rose to live for ever more, and gives us, all men that same hope if we believe in his word by doing what he compels all men everywhere to do.

The theory claiming that Jesus did not die on the cross is today considered as a heresy by the Church, and this heresy firstly appeared in the Holy Land at the beginning of the millenium and it was established by cult Aryanists.Their main principle was that Jesus was not divine and that he did not die on the cross but elsewhere. Is it true or not it is up to somebody else to decide I am just bringing out the facts.

JW please think for yourself and not allow the JW's to do your thinking for you. A stake is not and idol but a cross is an idol?...Your thinking is confused. The fact is the cross is is all scriptures from forever geeeeeeeee .Where is the scriptural evidence of this supposed stake...even historians agree with the cross it is also scriptural...now I supose you want to tell us Jesus is a mere angel? Sorry Fake their is no evidence to support your beliefs other than a lot of false doctrine. Jesus died on the cross if your esearch it through historic records you will find many ancient historians using the word cross and crucifiction and you will find this was a method of execution. If Christ was a mere angel there is no salvation and God is a liar. You are not using your own judgement Miss but following a denominational teraching it is clear you have not delved beyond what they teach as scripture itself reveals tham wrong if that is not enough historical records prove them wrong. As far as the cross being an idol this is nonsensical the cross is a symbol of salvation we worship God who provided that salvation through the atonement. the verse you refer to proves the deity of Christ not reproves it Jesus was the Son as you say and the whole of God is the Father Son and Holy Spirit your religion denies the trinity also which is taught from the first scriptures handed down from God to Moses in Genesis. Genesis 1 says Let us create man in our image. Gen 2 reveals this image is Father Son and Holy spirit by revealing the way in which man was created he was formed from the dust and God breathed in his spirit and the two became a living soul. The image of God was that of spirit. If man was not in that image he would perish with his flesh. It is necesary that man be more than mere flesh as God himself is more that one part but is Father Son and Holy Spirit. Our salvation depends on this doctrine of trinity that some refuse. John 1:1-14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This kind of stuff is what Satan trips you up with. These little useless details that will literally split a church and a home.

Get off the details and embrace the message. Do you really think that God is up there pissed that Christians are wearing a cross instead of a single pole?

There are all kind of atrocities going on right now, this is not one of them.

if people will focus on little things such as that how can that possibly save one's soul?

addition: seriously, if you protest about little things, how can you find peace in your heart?
