Jesus never stopped being a Jew nor did he ever tell people to stop being Jewish. The religion we know as Christianity today was not created by Jesus, but was instead created by his disciplels and can thank St. Paul (formally a pagan Roman citizen named Saul) for its evolution into a world class religion. Jesus would probably be appalled at the division that occured between his followers and the rest of the Jewish community. For all intents and purposes, Christians are Jews who believe that Jesus is the long awaited JEWISH mesiah. Yes Jesus claimed to be the Jewish Mesiah, not the Christian Mesiah (there was no such thing as Christianity at that time).

So, in direct answer to your question; yes Jesus is still Jewish, or as Jewish as one can be when one is dead.

OK...first caleb ...jewish is not a nationality it is a religion. Ameriucan is a nationality, British is a nationality, get the difference.

No one can know whether Jesus or not at this point in time. The only way to be sure is to ask him or look at his after life passport....and we simply can not do this today.

So-any answer is simply a complete guess.

To be honest Danny..Jesus is God. The man Jesus was born to a Jewish family and followed his father in heaven. All of us should do the same.

Many people mistakingly think that "Jewish" = Religion... being Jewish is a nationality... Not a religion.. The religion is called Judaism.. Does an Italian stop being Italian if he is not Roman Catholic?? So why would a Jew lose his nationality if his religion is not the religion of dominance in his country??
