First of all that passage talks about not having a person with a physical defect be a priest. In the OT a priest was the representative before God that went to the altar for to sacrifice for the sins of the people- this was to foreshadow Christ who was the perfect lamb of God. Murdering all those jews - you have got to be kidding that God was pleased with that, and that Hitler was just being used of God.

there is a difference between not having a physically handicapped person serve as a priest (which is what this passage is talking about), and actually murdering them all.

"You shall not insult the deaf, nor place a stumbling block before the blind. You shall fear your God; I am the Lord."

Where in those scriptures above does it say to persecute Jews? I can't see that anywhere... Alternative beliefs are certainly not a handicap or defect. Hitler was an evil man best left in history.

Hitler professed to be doing the work of God.

"I believe today that I am acting in the sense of the Almighty Creator. By warding off the Jews I am fighting for the Lord's work." - Adolf Hitler, Speech, Reichstag, 1936

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was his fight against the Jewish poison." - Adolf Hitler, speech on April 12, 1922

No. He was doing it for the himself not for "god".
Many cultures did not let deformed children, the lame or ill survive if it took up too much of the clan or tribes resources..
