You could try alternating cold and heat treatments on the area. Warm bathes or showers(bathes are better) and do gentle stretches while in the bath. Try gentle stretches before going to work or doing anything. Rest when you need to rest. When you sleep try sleeping on your back with a pillow under your legs it will elevate you legs up enough to take some of the pressure off your lower back. Good luck!

hi,
i'm glad that you are going to be getting professionals in on this. i am in much the same boat as you. i plan to see a chiropractor..soon!
as for your question, what to do in the mean time... i too have the back pain, then it goes down to the toes of my left leg... and it hurts worse than the back pain. back pain also causes swelling, which can pinch a nerve. for my leg to hurt like that, something is on the nerve to it. so a friend of mine told me to do, what i am about to tell you and it works!!! while lying down, take your right leg, raise it, stretch the leg out as far as you can. then slightly bend the knee, grab your knee and pull it over your left leg, as far as you can stand it. keep your butt and back level, don't turn your body...do it slowly and easily. repeat if you like, or need to. you will free up the pinched nerve and the pain in your leg will let up. you can do this as often as you like. i do it twice, when i go to bed.
i hope this works for you too!!!
good luck!!! :)

I use Tramadol and Fioricet for Pain. And Soma watson as a muscle relaxer. Go to http://www.drugstoreamerica.org/tramadol.php . They have what you need and you can also get more info on Tramadol. You do not even need a prior prescription to order! No wasted time at the doctors office! They are US licensed and located.
