We can hope that these children will be educated in school as to the lies being taught them in church.

"Biggest cancer?" That is the nature of the beast- children are taught what their parents see as truth. If it is true or not depends on the parent. The key is also "what they accept as true" If you mean what the children accept as true, of course the children are forced- do you want your children believing things they think are lies? If you mean what the parents accept as true, of course the children are forced- do you want parents teaching their children lies?
If you are talking about parents teaching things you think are lies, that is different. How do you know what the truth is? Any viewpoint on religion that you can think of has someone absolutely sure it is the truth behind it. I will wait until the truth is proven before I say someone is teaching lies. Until then, anybody can be wrong, and should be allowed to be. Free will is the most important thing we have.

You can't force anyone to do anything.

You can, however, insist they follow the basic rules of the house. If they don't like them, they can leave when they reach age of consent.

This includes the children of Atheists who want to be Buddists, Hindus, Christians, Muslims, druggies, criminals or bums.

because people are stupid and they think that just because they believe in 'X' their children have to also...

I wish people would just let their kids choose their own religion.

Maybe they just know that if they don't do as much as they can, their kids will make the right choice and be agnostic/atheist.
