How do i change the way my computer starts up?

I would like to stop some of the programs at start up. PLEASE HELP............

Hi,

Go to "Start" and then select "Run".
Type "msconfig" and hit enter.
Select the last tab "Startup".
Uncheck the statup items that you want to stop.
Click on "Apply" & the "OK".
The system will ask you to Restart the system.
Restart the system.

Click start-->all programs-->startup, then right click on the program you do not want to open when you turn on your computer then click delete. If the program is not listed, then go to the setting of that program and find out how it wont start automatically. If you still can't do this and if you dont actually need the program i suggest you remove the program by opening "add or remove program" in control panel.

Click on ‘Start’, ‘Run…’, type ‘msconfig’ in the ‘Open’ field and click OK to open the System Configuration Utility. Click on the ‘Startup’ tab to get a list of all your system’s startup programs. Tick the boxes of the programs you want to disable and click OK to continue. Reboot your system and check if everything is working fine.

You can always re-enable the disabled startup programs by re-opening the System Configuration Utility and ticking the boxes of the disabled items. Reboot your system for the changes to take effect..

Go to Start then go to run type msconfig pross enter.
select startup tab.here you can chack or unchack your software wihch you dont want to start at start up.
if you want to speed up your machine then select service tab

click on hide all microsoft service.Then uncheck unnessary servicess.

you don`t all of the software in the hard drive is linked to gether if one dose not work then the PC will not start [ the ad ons that you put in you can ]
