Yes it could become addicting, like when you spend all of your time on here, and not get anything done that you need to be doing, or getting out and seeing other people, yes then you are spending to much time on here, cause it is interfering with your life, and if this is the only life that you have then you are in trouble, and need to seek some really serious help right away, and i do mean right away.

I think three or four hours a night instead of three or four hours of TV. Or heck, leave the TV on while you do it. You could work 8, use computer 4, and still sleep 8 with plenty of time left over. I would say 12 hours straight a day is too much. No, I don't think it is any more addicting than watching your favorite TV show or playing your favorite video game is.

I think too much time on Yahoo Answers can be catergorized when we are letting other activities that we normally enjoyed doing before coming to Yahoo Answers. I also believe it can become an addiction, just like any thing can if overused!

If it is interfering with life activities then it is too much. Yes it could become an addiction. Myself I am disabled and it helps me pass the time, I enjoy it, and also learn a few things from it. It doesn't keep me from getting to the doctor or out once in awhile.

i'm a little addicted to it, and it kinda pisses me off, but i still choose to get on here. i've never gotten online JUST to get on 'Yahoo! Answers', but most of the time when i check my email i come over here for a little while, too. i think if you're on this site for hrs. a day and this is the ONLY thing you do online, that's taking it too far. most days i'm online for at least 2-3 hours a day, but i'm also doing about 10-20 different things. so i guess it's all up to you if you're addicted to this site or not... : )

cheers,
Shauna!

I love to spend time on Yahoo answers!

When I ask a question and you friends answer, I feel I am cared and feel not lonely. Also, knowing that there are others who have the same or similiar problems like me makes me feel much better as I think I am not the only one who has this or that problem.

THANK YOU for all your answers!

I expect it could become an addiction very easily, I've been on here since I dropped the kids off at school at 8.45am, I keep telling myself, 'Just ONE more question, then I'll start the housework.' BUT I CAN'T STOP! AAAAGH!!!!!!!
