I just discovered that there ALSO exists a MiniSD stick! I think you have that one (not the MicroSD). At least, 5 people tell me (in a succeeding question) the MicroSD doesn't fit.

MicroSD and miniSD will not fit in an SD slot, at least not without an adaptor. Similar to how Memory stick pro duo needs an adaptor to work in a memory stick pro slot. (Duo is smaller)

Most micro sd cards come with an adapter to use in a normal sd slot.
