Yes, for only having credit available for one year, 612 is an excellent score. Can you do better? YES! And you should try to maintain whatever good practices you are currently using. Obtain the advice of a credit advisor such as myself if you have questions about how something you are considering will affect your credit. Things like how will paying off my car loan after a year and a half affect my credit? Believe it or not, you won't like the answer to that question. Wait at least three years.

The point is seek advice from someone who knows. Will you have to pay for that advice? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on the type of advice and how much research is involved. And remember, credit advisors have mortgages too, you know. But we are surprisingly affordable.

612 is pretty good considering that you are so young. If you keep up your good credit behavior your score will continue to increase as you get older as one of the factors in your credit score is how long you have had credit accounts open

Not really. Just because you are 19 does not mean that your score can 't be higher than that.

Work to get that score in the 700s. It will help you in the long run.

Yes that's really good considering you are only 19. Keep up the good work on that, you'll be in the 700's soon if you keep your number of accounts low and amount owed on each low.
