1) God created everything, therefore He also created dinosaurs. He also existed before the dinosaurs came into existence and will continue to exist after our death.
2) Having created everything, this world and it's contents, God also created Time. Time demands that all things have a beginning and an end, and that's probably why you asked that question.
Because of our familiarity with this concept of time we automatically decide that God must also have a beginning. However this is incorrect because of the following reasoning: God cannot exist within His own creation because that would render Him anything other than All Powerful or Omnipotent (and I do not believe Jesus is God). Therefore, God does not exist in Time and is not restrained by its boundaries. God is therefore able to exist without a beginning and in conclusion, without a Creator.
Hope that makes sense.

In Gensis it states that God created the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th day. The term "day" does not exactly mean a 24 hr day as we know it. The term "day' indicates a length of time. We are the ones who needed a time reference not God.
We as God's children do not know long it actually took for the earth to get to a point were God could create life as we know it.
But the important part is that the earth did get to a point were God could create life as we know it.
My favorite God story that illustrates my belief is as follows: God allowed a man to ask 3 questions. The man thought about it and asked his first question, "God, to you how long is a million years? " God answered him "It is a second of your time." The man said "Ok. God, to you how much is a million dollars?" God answered. "It a penny of you money" The man said "Ok. God, can I have a penny?" God's reply was "In a second"
To me it is all relative. Dinosaurs were part of God's plan to get earth to the point where man would exist here. God has a reason for everything including dinosaurs.

According to creationists - God has existed forever, then 6000 years ago he decided to do something, so he created Man. Then the day after he created animals, including dinosaurs, presumably.
God may have been created by another God who existed before forever started.

1. No, I created the dinosaurs. Pretty cool, huh? You're welcome.
2. The dinosaurs created God. But I didn't teach them that trick.
