I have been together with J. for one year and six months, and it is going great as we both give each other space and the chance to hang out with our friends.
I think that a lot of people make the mistake to claim their partners too much, wanting them to soend every single moment with them. Look, we all had our own life before we met our partner and it is no sin wanting to spend time with friends when you are in a relationship. I think a lot of people see "going out with friends" as "cruising for chicks / boys".
Look, friends are important to a person;s life and depriving your loved one from seeing his / her friends is just wrong and unfair.

I've been with my fella for 7 years and for the 1st 5 he was a pig! Going out with your mates is absolutely fine if they are not all a bunch of dopehead t0ssers! I wasn't too fussed until my son was born, then it became vital to me that we started to behave like a proper family. I made him choose because I didn't want my kids to grow up with influences like that around. He now has nice friends and when we have a bit of money to spare we will go out individually with our mates.

Sometimes I feel like my boyfriend hangs out with his best friend more than me!! But I hang out with my girlfriends a lot too, but I always make time for him, more than he knows!!

Been together a year and we do everything together. He lives opposite me but we always have an evening meal together etc. If one goes out, the other does too- many people find this claustrophobic but for us it works.

five years,married,2 kids. He goes out when he feels like it at least twice a week,but after 5 years it's a nice break for me,couldn't cope with him being in all the time.

Yeah my friends boyfriend constenly hangs around his friends....but he also got girls that are friends to.Her boyfrinds like 18 and his parents are really rich so he's that type who can do whatever he wants.he's really cute but alot of girls constently are like all over him....i don't know how my friend puts up with that.Well anyway yeah he does but so does my boyfrind.Wev been going out 4 about 6 months

Eight years and married for seven. We only see each other about two or three times amonth so we lead pretty much seperate lives.

i have been with cj or 9 months n its has been gr8 he goes out with his mates alot but he also likes to go out as a couple its important to give each other space

We do go out with friends, but that doesn't happen much anymore as we are saving for a wedding, and buying a house together.
I guess the longer you are with someone the more your relationships change, and you have new goals, and aspirations together.
