why is your dog so far away from you that you would need a gps on it? if you are looking for a way to keep your dog safe and hopefully be returned to you if ever lost. God forbid. then check into a microchip. your vet or local shelter will implant a small chip just under the skin in between the shoulder blades and if ever lost can be scanned and you will be called and you and your dog reunited.

If you travel to Google and search "gps dog collar" you will find that Garmin has one for $249.95.

check with a hunting club that uses dogs and ask
