They don't like too much chest hair. Having no chest hair is completely fine. A little chest hair is ok. It's best to have none.

With all due respect to Michael S, he really can't speak for the entire female population.
I, personally, happen to like a lot of chest hair. I mean, a lot. Think pre-waxing scene in 40 Year Old Virgin.
