Is God able to control evil but he is not willing, or is he willing but he is not able?

There is no God.
You cant have good unless there is evil.
You cant have growth without pain.

Evil is really born out of our ignorance of the absolute truth. So to destroy evil is to open our mind to the absolute truth. What is the absolute truth? It is a journey where you alone can find it yourself with the help of masters and trusted books. God is waiting and won't interfere the way we would have projected it with our mind. Understand the spiritual law and you'll understand why God is greatly misunderstood from being non-existent to being selfish egomaniac. Otherwise you'll live a life of practicing blind faith or subconscious-filled angst against the creator.

Evil is an abstract term that has no bearing on reality. There is no evil in the world, sub-atomic particles are not evil, and since we are all massive conglomerations of said portents of the physical universe, there can be no evil. So legalize abortion and gay marriage yay!!!

He is able to control it, but he wants us to make the decision on whom we will follow either HIM or the evil one.
He will eventually do away with evil one day when he gathers the saints to dwell with him forever.

But there is suffering. And there are broken things.

The things I'm about to say can be found in the King James Version of the Bible and most of them a lot of people won't be able to understand for the mysterys of God belong to his Saints. God has from the beginning created all things for his pleasure and enjoyment. He created evil and good and even the crooked serpent he formed him with his own hands. God has a day of judgment and the names have been already written in the book of life before the foundations of the world were created. Consider this if the righteous are scarcely saved where shall the ungodly and sinners appear. God has the lake of fire appointed for those who he has deemed disobedient to his word. He has a holy city prepared called NEW JERUSALEM reserved in heaven for those who love him and keep his commandments. Sin is the transgression of the laws of God and he who sins is of the devil. The devil sinned from the beginning and was cast out of heaven and has made war with the inhabitants of the earth going to and fro seeking whom he may devour. God has sent his son to eliminate evil within his elect of the Saints that they should be reborn again and he that is born again does not sin because God's seed is in him and he can not sin because God's seed is in him. They that tell you they are born again and transgress God's laws do lie and the Truth is not in them. Truth is the word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ which a lot of people don't believe. He sent his Apostles to preach the truth and they are here today and still a lot of people don't believe them. Because they'd rather believe a lie than the Truth. They are spoke of in the scriptures as being damned. Damned is being condemned and to add on you can be damned to eternal damnation which is the lake of fire which burneth with brimstone. God who can not lie has given eternal life to all according to the scriptures the thing is not everyone knows the truth about the eternal life that "all shall be saved" some for the lake of fire and some for the holy city new jerusalem. God has already taken care of eliminating all evil but in his time as he said in the scripture I will destroy the wicked by the wicked little by little till they all be consumed. Now if he saved every soul for the holy city new Jerusalem who would be cast into the lake of fire? How would his word be true...You know it's written in the book of revelations that "The testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy" I go on to say this "who have believed our report to whom is the strong arm of the Lord revealed"? There's many that say they believe in God and Jesus Christ the devil believes and he trembles they use this scripture , yes this scripture that is so popular with many: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him should not parish but have everlasting life. The key word in this scripture is believeth. Well even though they "say" they "believe" they sure don't do what he said..."If you love me keep my commandments" "It is he who loveth me that keepeth my commandments" and his commandments are not grievance. So to prove what he said is true for those who don't keep his commandments but are disobedient he also said this: "why calleth me Lord, Lord and do not the things I say" Jesus didn't die for everybody and I can prove this according to the scriptures. But if one doesn't believe upon who he has sent then there is no reasoning with that individual because Jesus already let us know who he sent and what he gave in his Church before he went back to heaven. I'll leave you with part of what he gave : Some Apostles, and some Prophets: and some, evangelists, and some Pastors, and Teachers for the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifiying of the body of Christ...etc. you can read the book of Ephesians 4th chapter to find the rest if you wish. I hope this helps you but a lot of people won't endure sound doctrine. Christ only shed his blood for one Church which can be found in the Book of First Timothy the third chapter in verse number 15 because my God is not the author of confusion but he is a consuming fire!

God did destroy evil when he sent Jesus to die for our sins. Jesus payed for our sins/evil when he died on the cross. For everyone who accepts Jesus as their savior, they will go to live with God for all eternity. For those who don't, they will be separated from God for all eternity. and so evil will be done away with. if God destroyed all evil immediately, we would all be gone.
