I was 20 when I moved back home, after moving out when I was 17 years old. My then husband cheated and after several failed attempts to try to repair our marriage, I was out on my own. 7 months pregnant and on bed rest meant that I couldn't get a job, and that I was on welfare because I couldn't get a dime from my ex. I moved back in with my mother, and lived there until I was 23. I was miseriable. I hated myself, my ex, my daughter, and life itself. It took more adjustment then compared to any other time of my life. During those three years, I was able to get a job and support my daughter and myself (and my mother who thought I was her maid), I got a car, and ended up with a new husband too, LOL. We moved out about a year after we were married to our own place, and have been there ever since. I am so much happier, and even though I still don't get along with my mother very well, it is better than when I lived with her.

So What?
Did u ever get Bored of ur Kidneys or Eyes that are with you from your birth ? NO.
Just like that, Parents are a part of you & vice versa.
No need, to feel any BAD or DOWN about living with parents after 24 years.
Infact, this is time when they are getting older & really need your support. It is a chance for u To Show, 'U CARE'......!!!

My brother thinks its fine, in fact he thinks he's doing my parents a service by being there, which I can't figure out, my mom is in much better shape than him. However my friends hated it, she had to move back and couldn't take it, said she felt like a degenerate.

My ex-husband is 28 and he lives with his mom. He hates it, he rather live with some crazy chick that he does'nt even know, just so he is'nt mouching off his mom. He feel's unacomplished, and like a looser so he tell's me. By the way thats because everything he had I gave him and when he cheated on me he screwed himself.
