One of the best things to give a child for diarrhea is bananas. Also be sure he has plenty of fluids to replace the fluid he is losing through diarrhea. The antibiotics are probably killing off the "good" bacteria in his intestinal tract as well as the bad ones in his ears, so his food isn't really digesting properly. If he's not urinating, however, that is a sign to get him to the hospital so that he can be properly rehydrated.

Your child may be suffering from a allergic reaction to the antibiotics. Contact your Doctor as soon as possible. If he/she is not eating or drinking . Dehydration is likely and can cause serious problems in children. Go back to the doctor as soon as possible. In the meantime make sure to give your child plenty of liquids. Gatorade or pedialite is the best option.

Antibiotics probably killed the bacteria in his guts. You might give him some yogurts to replace the good bacteria. Give him so everyday.

The best thing is to refer the patient again to the same Doctor.
