(b) somewhat important, but doesn't influence my happiness or well-being.
(c) the approval of my friends and spouse are more important than my parents.
(d) very important. my happiness depends it.

D. I am very close to my parents. And even when I thought I was doing okay and things were fine, they still harped on me and it drove me nuts. Then, when I was finally set and secure and relied only on myself did they quit giving me sh*t. That changed our relationship ten fold.

Probaly alot of your hapiness has is dependant on your parents, i know this because i am in a situation where i am torn between my boyfriend and the fact that my family cannot accept him , which makes thinhgs difficult cos u want to please your family yet also be happy with the guy you love, for me i dont know what to do but dont make the same mistake as much as they want to protect do not let them rule your life, it you thats gonna face it not them.
