I want to become a neurosurgeon when I'm done with college. I would just like to know if there are books that I can read that can prepare me more. So please help!

1. Get a good MCAT review (maybe from Kaplan?)
2. "Principles of Neural Science"

get the basic science down first, then worry about neurosurgery during med school after you have a chance to experience it.

NEUROSURGERY IS A SPECIALTY OF MEDICINE. A STUDENT MUST FIRST GET INTO MED SCHOOL, AND THEN APPLY TO A SPECIALTY PROGRAM AFTERWARDS IN THIS SPECIALTY.
THERE ARE VERY SPECIFIC TEXTBOOKS FOR THIS AND JUST READING ABOUT IT WILL NOT SUFFICE.
THE FIRST THING TO DO IS GET INTO MED SCHOOL, AND TAKE THE M.C.A.T. TEST, AND TAKE A PRE-MED PROGRAM.
