First I reccomend gettting her a playmate like a neigbours dog or something and letting them come over and play every now and then so she's used to other dogs. Then get a dog or you could get a cat but preferably a playful one as a lazier snooty one is likely to fight with your dog but otherwise I'd say you can get another pet as your dog seems well behaved.
Hope this helps!

She seems fine the way she is. I got a playmate for my dog and she had a temper tantrum and had a stomache and had to be taken to the vet. She got over it but she does not really get along with her new playmate. If she's your "baby' then your all the companion she needs. If she is a family dog then get her a playmate. A cat can really mess up a little dog. My cat bit my min-pin on the tail and it got infected. That was a nightmare.

My wife started working to help with tuition when our kids started college. Until then, our dog was seldom home alone. We noticed a difference in personality so we thought about getting another dog. To try it out, we took care of a friend's dog while they were on vacation.

It didn't seem to make much difference with our dog so we decided against getting another pet. Maybe you could try something along those lines with a friend's cat or dog.

im pretty sure she is very happy if you are giving her a lot of love and attention, there is no need for another animal. but if you do decided to get another dog or cat, it will help her be more socializes. you can also take her a meet group once a week, or dog park if you think she is lonely.

Any dog(canine) will benefit from other dogs around - they born to be in packs. And getting them used to each other will have rto include you knowing which dog is submissive or aggressive by nature, etc. But you can get ANY two dogs to lived well, balanced lives together. :)

Pom poms tend to be jealous types.I'm not sure she would really like another dog around, but she'd get used to it.we have a pom pom and three other dogs. I do little things just for her to make her feel special and she likes that. She doesn't let the other dogs climb on her or physically play with her.She likes being in the same room with them, but she likes her space. If you want another dog,go for it, but do it because you want it.Your pom pom will be happy either way.

in case you get yet another puppy, you're actually helpful you are able to save up the household projects to coach, tame, and socialize? My innovations: A guinea pig. they're cute, and strengthen solid bonds with their owners. they're conscious during the day AND night, so whenever you're conscious they are going to be too. they have many diverse coat colours and varieties, in case you like a "cool" looking puppy, whether they could desire to have a great cage. you assert you want a reptile? verify your interior of sight animal preserve. they in many situations have a number of lizards, snakes, geckos. yet you're able to desire to attempt a frog. I agree that you should introduce your dog to ther animals first, to see how your dog would react. You could take her to Petco or anywhere pet friendly. Good luck (^_^)
