As In many say if its not taken at teh same time each day it looses its effectiveness.... How close to the same time should it be? For example I have school 5 days a week so i take it at almost the exact same time (which is 6 30) 5 days a week, however, If I get to sleep in on saturday or sunday, sometimes I dont wake up until about 10...so I take it then. thats only on saturdays and sundays and not EVERY sat and sunday... is it bad that i'm taking it anywhere from 1-3 hours later than usual 1 day a week or so?

It really depends on the type of pill.
If you are taking a minidosed one, yes, the time of day can be relevant...
With the normal pill, a few hours of difference will not change a thing. You have to worry about not forgetting it completely (or having a stomach bug - if you throw up before having absorbed the medicine, you should take it again, or consider alternate protection for the month!!!). Missing one - or several pills may start your period, but may also instead start an ovulation!!! although usually with one pill missed one is OK, you could be unlucky.

Check with your doctor, and ask him exactly how to take your pill. I am sure s/he will have pointers and ideas - and if you are not comfortable discussing it with the doctor, change the doctor!!!

Your fine. Your taking it on a daily basis. On the two days you take it a little later, you take it first thing. The effectiveness is still there.
It's like antibotics when they tell you to take it every six hours. However there is a point when your sleeping and you might be late for one of the six hours. You take it when you first wake up. then go six hours from there. The effectiveness is still there.
Just as long as your taking it on a daily basis a couple of hours isn't going to hurt.

Myself, I have my watch alarm set to go off at 9pm so I don't forget. You might want to start taking it in the evenings if you're always awake then (that was the case for me). Or, set your alarm clock for 6:30 on the weekends, take it and go back to sleep. You should switch the time for something later if you end up missing pills a lot.

No, you should be fine. I wouldn't even worry about it. That's the general time frame to take it in (within 1-3 hours of the same time). You should choose a time when your ALWAYS awake. Like lunch or supper time. I have my watch alarm set to remind me!

I've heard of some people getting their period if they missed their pill by just a couple of hours. I think that it would be best if maybe you took it at dinner time. You're always awake at that time.
