i wanna get a tattoo in honor of my beautiful daughter i dont wanna just get her name i was thinking portrait but i figured i ask my people what ya think

portraits are great BUT you do need to realize that good portrait artists are not easy to find. just any tattoo artist will not be able to do a good portrait that will do your daughter justice. it is extremely important for you to research artists before you do anything else. there are some amazing artists out there but you may have to travel. DON'T make the mistake of letting someone who is not phenomenal tattoo you. i promise you will regret it. if you need help finding someone i would be happy to help you search.

Hi Vinny, My son-inlaw has a portrait of his son,and them a daughter came along,and he had one of his daugter's done.They turn out great. He is a very caring dad. One thing is find a tattoo shop that the tat artist has done a lot of portraits of people. If you choice someone who hasn't done very many portraits you will not be please. Do your research on tattoo artist before picking one. I have 5 tats myself,and i love them.Nice to see a proud daddy. A Friend

How old is your daughter? Is there any symbolism that is particularly meaningful to you and her (and/or your family) that will still mean something 16 years from now?
Perhaps her face surrounded by a wreath of baby roses?

i dont agree with the portrait. like eminem's portrait of hallie, it looks distorted somewhat. maybe her name shud do it....but get intricate design to highlight the name or some roses to go with it.

I think a picture is fine but what if the person sucks. I think a nickname would be best.

it is a very bad habit to draw tattoo on the body,tattoo is a devil sign.
