buy a can of static guard. Spray hair lightly. It works longer than the dryer sheet.

that usually means your conditioner is not working properly. I also keep a couple of fabric softener dryer sheets and just do a quick wipe with it through my hair on days when it is staticky. I also wipe the back of my shirts, coats and sweaters because hair builds up static with the friction from the fabrics and all it takes is a couple wipes of the dryer sheet and the static is gone.

Wow! I've gotten the SAME problem lately and it's been since I changed my shampoo and conditioner, which really sucks cuz I love the new products, they work well except for the static!. Do you find yours gets worse at night? Mine does, it almost blinds me sometimes! lol
The laundry sheet thing works but only for a while. I'd suggest changing all the hair products you are using and see if it changes, that's what I'm going to do... once mine runs out hehe!

You can use a dryer sheet and lightly rub over the misbehaving areas. Or you could try purchasing a product such as Paul Mitchell Quick Slip if your tends to be frizzy and staticy

I had this problem when I got pregnant and the only thing i could do to get rid of it was run a piece of fabric softner over my hair. I know it sounds weird but it works...

One quick fix is to rub a drop of moisturizer (jergens) between the palms of your hands and lightly touch the staticky parts of your hair. It will lay down automatically. Use a non-oily lotion too.

Use a product that is oil-based or...
buy a "Zap" gun, (if you can still find them around?). They used to be sold in electronics stores.
