I am not a Catholic but I believe he is a great man that believes what he is doing is right. My question is- why would he want to meet with me. I am not noteworthy and he has many followers who would like to meet him?

Sure, if it was really easy, free and didn't take too long. It would be an interesting story to tell. Sometimes it's fun just to know you did something different or strange.
I'd rather it could have been the old Pope since I don't even know that much about the current one.

No! Why would i have any interest in meeting a man that claims to love the poor....and while thwey starve, he dines sumptuously in a palace??? No i don't mean saint peter's basilica.. I mean the Papal (Apostolic) Palace.

Why would I want to meat a liar that claims to be the head of the Christian Church...when it is CHRIST ALONE that holds that title?
(Eph 1:20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
(Eph 1:21) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
(Eph 1:22) And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
(Eph 1:23) Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.
Why would i want to meet a man that claims to be the "substitute of Christ on earth" (vicarus Christi) when that is the title that belongs ONLY to the Holy Spirit???
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Why would I want to meet one of the "sons of perdition" who are responsible for all the martyrs, wars and blood shed upon the earth??
The only reason I would visit Rome is to speak against the synagogue of Satan that resides there, to tell others the truth in the hope that they might...
(Rev 18:4) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
(Rev 18:5) For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
There are many more reasons; but, that should be enough for now. I mean none of this personally or to hurt you, only that you might come to the knowledge of the truth. I wouldn't harm a Catholic for being a catholic; but, I will tell them the truth...whether it's popular or not.

Nope. I have nothing against Catholics. If he goes around insisting that rock'n'roll is the 'devil's music' and that there is no need for reform on women's rights (abortion, divorce, the priesthood, work outside the home, etc.), is against marriage for priests and homosexuality, and goes around intimidating Muslims, I don't think I would want to. We don't need someone who tells Muslims that they spread their religion by the sword.

Nope, I do not have any interest in meeting him. He is just another man here on earth. I do not put my confidence in him or any other man, just in Jesus.
The only people I really want to meet are those in Heaven with me standing next to them!
