My answer is basically the same as all the other s but I'm really just backing them up. It does make their skin all dry. It's like putting them out in the sun for ages until all the skin get all flaky and horrible plus I doubt the dog would enjoy a bath everyday!

Once a week bathing is almost too much, but the dogs skin can handle it with the right type of shampoo. If he continues to bathe his dog everyday the dog will get dry skin and it will start flaking.

No it is not. Because in a dogs fur it has special oils that keep out the dirt. But if you wash it every day it washes these oils off the fur and just makes the dog smell more. He should only wash the the do twice a week not everyday.

no. a dog should really not be bathed more than once a month, unless covered in mud or skunk. then by all means if the month is not up, bathe them. it will dry out the dog's natural oils that cover the coat and can cause dry and itchy skin. and please have your friend seek help for their OCD, this is an awful thing to suffer from.

no, your friend is obsessed. giving a dog a bath is like a human taking 7 baths a day. ( similar to the whole dog year concept) dogs need to let oils biuld up to protect their skin, also it helps the fur stay shiny and stuff

No! A dog shouldn't be washed more than ONCE every TWO WEEKS this robs the dog of its natural oils and can be hazardous to the dogs skin...

NO!!! That will dry the heck out of his skin, and I'm sure the dog is a mental case. Dogs NEED to walk outside!!!! Tell him to get a hairless cat.
