Papa Bear.....I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and savior. I know I will go to be with Him. Let me ask you something. If a man gets a truck does he refer to a lawn mower Manuel for it? You have so many references of different religions who have no clue who Jesus is, for that subject. Most likely if a person is going to hell when they die, it's usually all over their life already. I hear of death bed reconciliations at times. But I'd have to say that a person is either a part of heaven or hell already by the life they have taken on. Either they are already in Christ or the effects say something else. For the poor lost soul out on an island by himself some place the Bible says that nature it's elf will be used to bring a person to Christ. I know that God is merciful. He is also a Jewish God and He will not be jewed out of a soul sort of speak. So everybody has a chance to accept or reject Jesus Christ. That's all to it.

This question remind me to some one who asked about, a good doctor who save lifes never convert, and a criminal who convert the last minutes of his life, who goes to heaven? and who goes to hell? the general answer for most christian will be that the good doctor will go to hell and the criminal to heaven.
Well i dont think is that simple , or that horreundus but thats what they teach you at church, i fyou study more bible about the places in hell and places in heaven certanly heaven is not only a place and hell is not same place.
they have different places, like a house has a living room kitchen etc, all working together but different situation.
There is a place in hell called silence place ( i dont remenber very well ) but its a place that is empty silence not creepy, not etenral fire , is for those who didnt acceptp Jesus but they were very good on earth. its called the " waiting place" yeah i just remember , cause they wait there until the day of judgement.
-----Imagine a man who grows up alone on an island and has never heard of Jesus. When he dies, does he go to hell?----- same thing will be judge by their good works .
how he will be good ? if no one has thougth him? thats why we all have something called consience, and every one who born has a brain ( damage or complete ) have conscience, so that will help in decide to do good and bad, same to the christians, not all will go to heaven
remenber the verse- Not all who said !Lord !ho Lord will enter in heaven God will say I dont know you , that day, we will say, but in your name we cast demonds, heal people, in your name we did miracles! and jesus will say - I don't know you, you won't be with me.
so heaven is not for every unique christian.

The question is simple only those who believe in the shed blood of Jesus go to heaven. There is to much in the Bible to prove that it is true for me not to believe everything else that it says. Plus having a personal relationship with God, it is easy to believe what he says is true. All that other stuff is called religion which went away with the cross.

So most of them don't think Gandhi was good enough to get into heaven? I thought I was arrogant. I think different sects of Christianity all started off like cults, just without the mass suicides. Christianity itself was an offshoot of Judaism. Why these people think that only they have the answers is beyond reason.

Many, in fact the majority of churches are false churches.
It seems they will not give God the Perfection that He must have if He is to be God. Any church that says that we do not all end in heaven is a false church. God is Perfect and can only live up to His nature by creating Perfect souls.
Do what your nature dictates and rest assured that you, as all of us, have only one destination. Heaven.
God would have it no other way. He is not a failure.

DL

Well, the article quotes John 14:6 (Jesus saying, I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father, but by me)....and even with that plainly said, keeps asking the question!

All this article proves is the disparity in the beliefs of different denominations of Christianity, not whether or not people go to Hell and, if anyone goes, who.

The Pearson guy mentioned at the end is interviewed at length on NPR's This American Life. It's interesting:

Well according to some folks we are in hell right now... I would have to say the ones that believes in hell will go to hell. But personally I don't think anyone will go to hell. Not on my watch!

anyone who does not ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive him/her of their sins. This does not include the unborn babies and children who do not know right from wrong.
Oh yes, and one who blasphemes the Holy Ghost. By the way, in order to blaspheme, you must have had a walk with the Lord in His fullness
