Well there is this guy at work who i totally adore and have the hots for hes 31althrough i am turning 17. He makes me laugh makes me feel like im accutally worth something and someones time. I like him more than a friend and dont know what to do cause as I know i dont know if he likes me or anything its so hard!!!!
I NEED HELP.
Its currently depressing me bad cause i want to show him how i feel but then again i have to hide it.
Please help!

he's 31, if that really doesnt bother you then let him make the first move- you dont want to get hurt or embarrased. just keep things as they are at this point :)

Ummm...turn down the heat a bit and get some fresh air into that young head of yours. This could turn into a disaster for you.
Your current heart throb is nearly twice your age. He's probably had a lot more relationship experience than you and is appealing because he knows all the right things to say. You have not likely experienced that before at your young age.
If he is truly a nice guy, he won't take advantage of you and the crush you have on him. If he is not, he'll manipulate you into bed at the first opportunity. If he falls somewhere between those two extremes, you might have a chance at a nice, professional relationship.
But, romance? True love? I don't think so. This is not a healthy relationship opportunity for you. Be friendly, but keep your distance...and make sure that he keeps his.

Obviously theres quite an age difference and you are a minor..so you telling him how you feel might just be a bad idea. Even if he does accept it, you both can get into a serious trouble. So I'd just keep that feeling bottled up for a little while, until your 18th birthday, and then proceed or plan what you should do next to let him know your feelings toward him. What about guys your age? I know they are all immature, but give them some time and they will come around.
I'm 21 now and I can see that I've matured greatly in the last few years, just as I'm sure that I will continue maturing.
I would say that it's a pretty big age difference to overcome. My advice is to steer clear of it.

Not to be mean....but he's 14 years older than you and therefore most likely only looks upon you as a kid....or he could be one of those people who preys on teenage girls only to use them. You should wait until you're older to figure things out because it's pretty unusual for a 31 year old to like jailbait unless he has an alterior motive.

I am sorry but a 31 year old man has no business even looking at a 17 year old. That is very perverted. Sounds like you have a crush. Keep it at a distance. I think he is just being nice to you hopefully not interested sexually.

ok let me tell u a story, iwas 17 and in love with a 28yr old,oh so in love i deserted my family, he had been in prison for 5yrs prior, he was a thief and a drug addict, be beat the living snot out of me for 4 yrs, i left him and went back to my family, keep your feelings hiden wait for the right guy, i now am married to a wonderful man who is 37 and i am 30, i beg you to hang in there the good ones show up in the funnist places

Better be sure of who your bio. parents are sweetie, and make sure he doesn't have a daughter your age or SHE'LL be letting YOU know how SHE feels...
He's old enough to be your daddy baby! Stick with the plan and find a young man. He probably just likes your personality, your spark, maybe he thinks "what a cute kid".
