im currently staying at my aunt and uncle's place in france (here on exchange) and my camera has been missing for quite a few days. the last time i saw it was when my cousin brought it in the car and i havent seen it since. my cousin has a reputation for taking things and never giving them back. i asked him about it twice yesterday, and he said that i must check in the car, but it isnt there. i have this feeling that he took it. what must i do? i really need it back because it belongs to my parents and they would seriously kill me. I also need it back because it's my last week in france and i need to take photos and save the photos i've already taken. plz help me im so worried.

Talk to your aunt and uncle, tell them that your camera is missing and the last person that had it was your cousin.
Just tell them what happened... do they know about his "reputation"?
Maybe they will get you another camera or at least the single use kind so that you can get a lot of pictures.
I am sure that your parents will understand. Plus, they will be so glad to see you that they probably won't be able to get mad.

First off you have no proof---second--it's missing---go buy a cardboard one time use camera and finish your trip. If it is stolen--shame on you for not watching out for your property---big lesson learned--watch your own stuff--anywhere and any time. Your camera is just a camera--your parents are not going to kill you---may be a bit disappointed, but they'll get over it. learn to protect others stuff when you have it. If this cousin has it , it will probably already be sold---it's gone--forget it. NO PROOF either way. Now get going and enjoy your trip. Buy another camera for your folks--it goes with being irresponsible. Good luck

Talk to your aunt or uncle. I'd say the uncle. He'll have a firm hand I'm betting. Sorry this happened. Enjoy France.

Have a serious talk with your aunt and uncle about it. Maybe they can get it back for you or at least replace it. Especially if this guy has a reputation as a thief.

Ask your Uncle and Aunt if they have noticed it around? explain that your cousin may have of misplaced it as he had it last. If they realize how important it is perhaps they will speak to there son....
Hope you get it back.... Good luck.

How about you talk to your parents and have them talk to your aunt and uncle? Or.....talk to your aunt and uncle yourself? In any case, please don't worry so much. It is only a camera and there are much more things in life to be concerned with.
