Totally depends. If you just walk up to her and introduce yourself, or make some nice comment about the weather, or talk about some boring teacher, you're just being nice and friendly. Nothing intimidating about that. On the flip side of things, you could just walk up and make lewd comments about her dress, or just take certain liberties a person you just met shouldn't take. Talk about awkward. Just treat the girl like a friend you just met: be gentle until you two know each other well enough to know how far to go. She shouldn't think it weird at all!

No. Girls like guys with confidence and of course there's that general idea that 'guys must go first' [hey, it doesn't hurt]. If you are to just randomly talk to her, look for signs to see if she genuinely enjoys your company or just wants you to buzz off. Is she genuinely laughing with you? Would she give you a polite hi in the halls? If she does, then you've just got a new friend. If you want to go on romantically- that's another story. Just keep on talking and get to know the girl- of course girls like it. Good luck!

No I don't think so. There's nothing wrong with being friendly. Stalking is another story, but harmless talking? Nah, it's not awkward! Fun, really.

i know the answer to this one...cause i've tried it, in loads of places,.
it depends what your asking..if its something nonpersonal and objective, most people will not think twice, if its something opinionated they will need a reason for why your asking, but will usually be open to answering
if its something personal, then they are far more guarded abbout responding

Personally it wouldnt be weird to me....i think its kinda sweet that a guy would take to time to come up to me and talk to me...but thats just me...
