Yes there is a God. People tend to believe there isn't one because they can't see Him, but yet we believe air exists although we can't see it.

You see many evidences of God's existence in the order of the universe and nature. An examination of the world and the things large and small shows that each is designed by an intelligent mind for a specific purpose in life. The colors of a bird and means of defense of animals are not accidents. They are the result of the superior planning mind of the Designer.

That sounds like a confused worried mind. Please let me reassure it. Christians are going to try and confuse it more. I implore you to use logic and reason in your discovery of the truth. There is no logical reason to believe there is or ever has been a superior being. If you would study some of the scientific data you would discover that it is much more reasonable to conclude that the entire universe runs very well without one. Now the Christians locked in their cocoon of ignorance will try to convince you to believe in their fantasy la la land of eternity and offer you a little piece of it if you will Accept their fantasy God Jesus. They will also warn you if you don't accept him their fantasy Boogie man Satan will jump out and grab a bite of your butt. And they will all condemn you to their fantasy Hell fire where the worm never dies and the fire is not quenched. I have been condemned to hell so many times it feels like their fantasy Satan is nibbling on my butt sometimes. I just awarded you a star for your excellent question.
