Yes.
The most notable happened years ago.
I was in the living room. My cat was sleeping on the love seat and I was watching tv on the couch.
Suddenly my cat lifted her head and meowed. I looked toward her and actually SAW the cushion on the other side of the love seat compress like someone was sitting in it.
My cat jumped up, and down onto the floor then turned and hissed/growled at that cushion with her hair out, then she took a couple of steps backward, still looking at that cushion and then took off toward the other side of the house.
Other times, I'd seen her terrified of the basement. She'd run down to go to the bathroom, then run back up as fast as she could. More than once, I'd see her stop at the top of the stairs and hiss back down at the stairs with her back up.
I still wonder what she saw or felt that scared her so bad.
The times I saw the shadow man in the house (long story) she refused to leave my room when he was in the hallway.

I once had an elderly lady for a friend. She had a wonderful little dog. A mix of some sort. She had the dog trained well and it behaved very well. Learn here https://tr.im/7q5sH
She kept an uncovered candy dish on her coffee table with candy in it. The dog was forbidden to eat the candy. When she was in the room observing the dog he did not even appear to notice the candy. One day while she was in her dinning room she happened to look in a mirror and could see her dog in the living room. He did not know he was being watched. For several minutes he was sitting in front of the candy bowl staring at the candy. Finally he reached in and took one. He placed it on the table and stared at it, he woofed at it. He stared some more, licked his chops and PUT IT BACK in the bowl and walked away. Did he want the candy, oh yeah. Did he eat it? Nope. They can be trained that well but most, I'll admit, are not trained that well. When I was a young boy, maybe 5 years old. We had a german shepherd. He was very well trained also. My mom could leave food unattended on the table, no problem. She would open the oven door and set a pan roast beef or roast chicken on the door to cool. No problem. He would not touch it, watched or not. But butter? Whole other story. You leave a stick of butter anywhere he could reach and it was gone. He was a large shepherd so there were not many places he could not reach. Really, I think the number of dogs trained to the point they will leave food alone when not being supervised is very small indeed.
.
Now if we are talking obedience training, not food grubbing, that is a different story. Way back when I was first learning obedience training one of the final exercises was to put our dogs in a down/stay and not only leave the room but leave the building for 15 minutes. The only person that stayed was our trainer, not the owners. Most of the dogs in my class did not break their stay, which would be an automatic fail. I'm happy to report my dog was one of the ones that passed.

It's funny because I do believe animals have a sixth sense of some sort. Like how they avoided the tsunami and act differently during earthquakes. I saw a special on how a guy with split personalities wouldn't let his dog lay on the couch and the dog knew not to, but when his alter-ego came around the dog would lay on the couch right next to the guy. It's because the guy's split personality was like a child, and the dog knew that his true master was away.
I've also met all sorts of people who used to talk to ghosts when they were little kids.

I've seen dogs who start barking and act like they're after something. The other dogs will get up and go running to see, barking, too. Then a minute or so later, the rest of the dogs will come back and lie down in disgust while the first one is still carrying on over nothing.

You're not going to believe me, but I've seen children react to ghosts. My own two. When they were babies, they would sit by this one door while crawling around, look above the door, and either smile or laugh. A few minutes later the light near it would sort of blink repeatedly. Or sometimes the stove, TV, or satellite receiver would turn itself off. Another thing you won't believe, I have actually had my house investigated by paranormal investigators. My house isn't completely haunted, but according to what they detected and caught on video, there is deffinately paranormal activity. Jeff and Sal, who are married, think it's my uncle and the two women who lived here before we did. Look them up. They live up in I think Elk Horn, WI and do this stuff for free. It was creepy!!!

i think of that the "canine having the flexibility to work out ghosts" fable began by assumptions. everyone who owns a canine is conscious that frequently that's going to be staring outdoors, merely checking stuff out, then abruptly it extremely is going to start up barking at some thing for no sturdy reason (a bag is blown by skill of the wind, a passer-by skill of on a motorcycle, and especially situations no longer something in any respect). We, because of the fact the assumptuous and superstitious beings that we are, assume that there is a few thing obtainable that we do exactly no longer see. A ghost, in many situations. Cats i do no longer somewhat get because of the fact any reaction of theirs is in itself questionable. surprising bursts of power, random crooning in any respect hours of the night. I truthfully merely think of that the puppy element is all fable. Plus, i understand a cat or canine does no longer have the comparable reaction as me, because of the fact i could be the two locking myself in a room or on the floor screaming bloody homicide.

my 1 year old daughter will laugh when she's alone in her crib in her room. the weird thing is she only laughs that way when being tickled. and my 2 cats will sit outside her door interested like they do when i new person comes over and is outside knocking to get in. it's very very real. at least it's a good ghost and it likes my daughter and vice versa.

i don't believe in ghosts. i'm sorry to dissappoint all of you but according to hard scientific evidence, ghosts don't exist despite what your experiences may be. there's a perfect explanation for all of what you've got to say. most of the cases i've read above have babies & animals reacting to certain stimulus. there is no way you can be sure that that the animal/child is definately responding to ghosts because they can't tell you.
i can prove this if you so wish. PEACE!!!
