I like reggae and have always liked it but found out that it's roots were not exactly Christian. I studied on it and asked the Lord about it. He kept telling me that He created all music and that the devil is the one that turns it into evil. I have no problem with it now, but I am careful to listen to the lyrics and who it is that is playing.

I'm not really a reggae listener-to, I'm more of a metal head than anything else.

I used to really meditate on it actually. It penetrates your soul to some degree. Something in the consistency of the beat is very powerful
