When you get the calls, immediately after punch in *57. This will flag the call at the provider and if you get enough calls you just need the police involved then they can investigate where and why those calls are coming in.

Do you mean, you tried *69 and the computer told you it was a blocked number?
Your options depend on what kind of phone service you have. I understand that Verizon wireless has a "nuisance report line" (1-800-257 2965).
We have caller ID...If we don't recognize the number, we don't pick up...And we turn down the ringer when we go to bed at night; anybody calling before 7 am can leave a message.
Hope this helps!

I have a device on my phone that keeps anybody who has blocked their number or is calling from an anonymous number from even ringing my phone. They get a message saying that I don't accept blocked or anonymous calls, and that if they want to call back with an unblocked number they can do so. It allows me to program the numbers of family and friends so that they don't have to go through the message; it also allows me to set up "extension" to temporarily allow certain callers through. I highly recommend it.

Yes. the first thing you can do is not accept calls from restricted #'s. So everyone that calls you hope will have to appear on your caller id. I think every phone company has different codes but mine is *77 & *76. Call your local phone company

There may be another feature you can use, called "call trace", which is similar to *69, but the number is only reported to the phone company, not you. It is intended for nuisance calls. Ask your phone company about it.

Report this to the police-if it continues they will have a record of ongoing harassment and can access phone records. If you feel you are in danger they can do drive bys or make other suggestions to help you.
