Jaden got it right, don't waste your money on this car. Sell it and get something faster like a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro or others. But if you must try get yourself a K & N air filter or a cold air intake, then go to a muffler shop and tell them to put on a free flowing exhaust system. Go to the site below and start reading.

Your looking at anywhere between $5,000-$7,000 to purchase
and install either a supercharger or turbocharger. Browse the
internet under "Hyundai aftermarket parts" to get an idea as to
the possible expenses involved, and also find some websites
that have owners that have already experimented with perform-
ance upgrades and their experiences with the results...
However, it might just be in your best interest to take the money
it would cost to do such an expensive upgrade, and put it down
on a new car with more power like a Honda Civic Si Coupe or
something similar.

If you did not buy the Tiburon yet, the 4 cylinder Tiburon is better for tuning. The 4 cylinder is more reliable and gets much more power from turbo's, exhaust systems, or cold air intakes than the 2.7L V6 engine. Alot of people Supercharge their V6 Tiburons so you should not have any problems. You should change the clutch and flywheel with an aftermarket clutch and flywheel because the stock clutch and flywheel are trash. They break about every 35,000 miles.

I would recommend going to http://www.newtiburon.com and asking the same question. . i dont have exact answers for you, but they will be very helpful.
I know you can get an Alpine Supercharger and their base goes for about $2500, but more powerful models come close to $4500, and of course you will need supporting mods, such as intake, exhaust, fuel management system, etc.
If its just a little performance and a nice sound, i would highly reccomend a borla catback exhaust system (typically about 4-500 and it gives the car a nice low rumble, but it isnt too loud where it is annoying) and an Injen cold air intake (about $200). The car will sound really mean and will perform much better with just these 2 mods.

Turbo charge modification will cost $3,000 + labor. Super charger is about $4,000 + labor. This will give you at least 50 % more horse power, but it will avoid your warrenty. it will shorten the life of your engine as well.
If you are looking for that great sound, you can get custom mufffler system. If you are looking for little more power, you can get that from Powerchip, cold air Intakes, Muffler system. and filter. Some of those all aluminium exhause system sound so great;you will think you have Italian sport car.

Please dont take this as me being mean but that car isnt worth doing anything like that too,
Mods like that can run well into the high 10k easily and can be very bad for the life of your engine,
You could sell you car and save the same amount of money of the Turbo and install and get your self a car thats stock that would blow a turboed Tiburon away for the same amount of cash

I wouldn't modify a Tiburon. It's gonna cost you a lot. Just buy one that is already installed. You will lose your money, and you have to pay someone to do it. Buy an evo or subaru imprezas. If you can't afford that find a used Honda or Acura.

Good luck with your venture into the world of vehicle modifications, let me put it to you this way, The second you modify anything on ANY car it WILL start trouble left and right, the second you modify a car , is the second it starts to break.

You will void your warranty. Change the exhaust to get better sound and bump a couple hp. It's cheaper and you won't mess with that 10/100K.
