the dmv is not capable of arresting you. if you go for a drivers license, they will deny it untill the warrents are clear, however they will not prevent you from getting an id card.

No why would you think that you will be arrested these people dont have time to run a check up on you, their job is to give out ID card and that do not come up in the system, but If you are driving and get stop they will run a check on you and YES! you will go to jail. Do not pass go,go straight to jail

I am sure you'll get an ID card when you get to jail, unless you run really fast after filing the paperwork for the ID

It would be better if you turn yourself in then for the cops or sheriff to come and get you. The court might be a little more lenient on you since if you turned yourself in you would not be a threat and at the most you might have to spend one night and go before the judge.

If you have ever been to the DMV, you may have noticed the sheriff's deputies hanging around. FYI they're not there to protect the people working there. My advice is to get a lawyer and make a deal. That or turn your self in.

No, you can get an ID card.
