I have imperfect, not insane, but imperfect teeth. I know of one cavity, at least. I have made an appointment for Wednesday with a General DDS. I am sort of a dentist-phobe, and need to know that I have chosen the right person to see to get me on the path towards braces or whatever I need to straighten my teeth.

Have I?

Thanks.

ANDREW,
THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS TO INVEST IN YOURSELF.
THIS ALL FIRST BEGINS WITH YOUR BODY AND HEALTH, AND THIS FIRST BEGINS WITH YOUR MOUTH.
THE DENTIST IS THERE TO ALSO MAKE YOU LOOK BETTER -- AND YOUR SMILE IS THE KEY.
AFTER THE CAVITY IF FIXED, YOUR NEXT STEP WILL BE A WINNING SMILE. SPEAK WITH YOUR DENTIST ABOUT BRACES. HE OR A COLLEAGUE MAY HELP HERE.

Your dentist will do all for you . Tell you if you need brace's or just bottom ones like me . And make a appointment with a orthodontist if you want to get a price from them I hope this answer helps you .

Your dentist will give you the option of getting braces, which you can get in silver, gold, and sometimes clear if the procedure is not too tough on the wires.

If you can't stand the thought of this, there is a more expensive option called invisalign. it is a clear tray that fits over your teeth perfectly, and over a designated time period you change trays so your teeth move. you can barely see them when being worn, and can be taken out whenever you need..unlike braces, which are on 24/7 and get in the way for well, a lot of things...

good luck! :)

I just recently got braces just ask the dentist if you need braces and he will write out a form for you to give to the orthodontist and from there you will just need to setup a appointment to see the orthodontist
