why is it for as long as i can remember i have had the strangest dreams about the night sky?
in my dreams i am standing outside my house looking at the sky, and i can easily see every planet, and then i see shooting star's' (i emphasize the S for a reason) and after i watch the stars fly by then i float? i start floating and i am scared, my stomach turns and i feel like i am going to vomit. then i wake up sweating.
can anybody tell me if this dream is trying to tell me something or is it just a nightmare?

Night
To have a dream that takes place at night, represents some major setbacks and obstacles in achieving your goals. There are some issues in your life that you are facing that are not too clear. You should put the issues aside so you can clear your head before coming back to it. Alternatively, night may be synonymous with death, rebirth and new beginnings.
Stars
To see stars in your dream, symbolize high ideals, spirit, fate and luck. It also signifies your desire for fame and fortune.
Planet
To see a planet in your dream, signifies creativity, exploration, and new adventures. You may be trying to align yourself with untapped energies that you never knew you had. Look up specific planet for additional significance
I think it sounds all very positive.
You keep progressing in life, and this is standing out to you, Either for you to look at or look into in more depth.
Self work and inner searching.
If you are the type of person that dose alot of dreaming (like i do heeps), i write down the ones that really stand out to me.
And start my own dream dictionary, Even though i have put some of the online dictionary ones there, your own personal ones really are much better to read from.
I hope this helped a little.
Blessings ALD

Well, it seems that you have a special ability to see more than what is presented to you.
For example: I say the word "school." Some people would say education, but you say children, books, pencil, teacher, socialism, antiauthoritarian, chastisement...
You seem to have a certain interest in space. If you have ever sene Saturn, you would know how awesome it looks. If you haven't, the you would be extremely interested.
you should check out pictures taken by the Hubble Space telescope, and learn about being more observant. You would make a great forensics expert with your ability to see more than what is presented to you, which is key.

I don't know how to interpret dreams, but I have had some weird recurring dreams also. I once dreamt for several days in a row that death was searching for someone...I tried my best to avoid being seen by it, and I could hear it saying my name. After the fifth night of that dream, in the morning, I found my son had died in the night, from SIDS...he was named after me.
I have had other dreams that left me feeling odd in the morning...one particular dream was not repetitive, but it left me with a very strong and uncomfortable feeling. I dreamt my uncle had died of a heart attack, and my grandmother told me she had a heart condition. One month later, my aunt called me and told me my uncle had died from a heart attack...and several years later my grandmother told me she had angina of the heart. People often don't believe that I am telling the truth about this...so I don't usually bring it up.

Generally dreams are fragments of random thoughts, feelings, experiences etc. The fact that you have a recurring dream may have some psychological significane but, not being a pshychologist, I don't know what it is. Perhaps you should try posting this question in that forum.

Maybe you are experiencing astral travel---I have had those "dreams", but I do not TRY to have them. They just happen. They are very realistic. It could also be a very cool, lucid dream.

Your mind is DEFRAGGING--just like your computer .
That is all-no interpretation...just FRAGMENTS.
