This is normal in older dogs. If they are not too big or touching the eye itself I wouldn't worry too much about it. On the other hand if they are large or touching the eye I would take him to your vet and see about removing them.

you need to take him to the vet. if the tags are rubbing on the eye or eyelid at all it can cause scratches on the cornea and cause eye infections and other problems. your vet will be able to tell you if it's something better left alone, or needs to be removed. although it is a normal occurrence for many dogs to develop this. good luck.

yes its normal. Older dogs get all kinds of lumps and bumps.. I would have the vet look at them just to be on the safe side though..
