I did it when I was 15 to 25. I think it was just being young and in love. I never thought of it as practice or art. It didn't work with women that I didn't have intense feeling for. I once went 5 times.

Really tough, but possible to have what some call "dry orgasms". You really need to be intouch with your body, no pun intended.
The basic principle is to reach the orgasmic state without ejaculating, either by contracting your PC muscles, applying pressure to the perineum, or some other method of avoiding ejaculation.
Takes practice, and the dicipline not to just go "aw forget it" and go all the way (a strong temptation).
