Vitamin E .. a capsule will work. Just open it up and apply gently.
Aloe Vera will help, too.
From personal experience, not much else will help. Most will make it worse! You may just have to tough things out for a day or two. It WILL get better. And switch to a wax removal product .. one made by DermaMarine has soft, flexible cloth waxing strips that can be warmed with your hands and has a natural marine extract to soothe skin: http://www.spasciences.com/
Try to avoid those darn chemicals like Nair .. they're poison, dear.

ouch, sounds like you either have a chemical burn from the product and you can get them even if it's the recommended time they say on the package, it just might not be the right time for your own body, or it's a severe allergic reaction. Either way it will hurt like the dickens.
First off I would put cool cloths on the area, ice inside a washcloth or towel on the area, don't put the ice directly on it as the harsh ice against the burn isn't too good, it can damage the skin. I would go to one of the stores near you, drug store, walmart most places sell it and get either solarcain or ICE sunburn remedy, ANY product that is meant for burns that contains lidocaine will help soothe the pain. Put the product on and cover the area with a gauze bandage, they have some that self stick or you can use soft cotton covered with non-irritating tape of some sorts. You can take benedryl and ibuprofen for the pain and inflammation. If it's not better in 48 hours go to the doctor as burns can become bacterial infections very easy. Wear loose clothing too so nothing rubs on the burn and bandage. Keep it covered for the first 24 hours.

Perhaps the depilatory agent remained on the skin longer than the manufacturer's recommendation; perhaps you scrubbed the site more vigorously than usual.
Whatever the cause, it may bring some relief by placing the affected area under cool running water, and avoid rubbing the sensitive spot.
Vitamin E oil will help soothe the area.
Also if possible, avoid any clothing material from coming into contact with the sensitive area until the pain lessens.
In time, the soreness will diminish, but there may be a darker area where the pain was. The darker area will diminish too. Time is the best healer.

Ouch! This happened to me (but under my arms with the bikini Nair and I couldn't put my arms down). The only thing you can do is run a cool/warm bath and put 1/2 box of baking soda in it. This will relieve the pain. If you have Epsom Salts in the house that will help even better. What it is is a chemical burn so all you can do is soothe it. If you have any aloe vera cream (or an aloe vera plant), put the cream and/or plant juice on after you soak in the tub.
Best of luck sweetie - let me know how you make out.

Nair makes a bikini cream. It's basically regular Nair in a smaller bottle with a little more emollients. Although, if you want a Brazilian-style removal it is best to wax. That part of your body is very sensitive. Shaving is the worse thing you can do. If you get any type of scrape, cut, or chemical burn it can easily get infected. Waxing becomes more tolerable the more that you do it.

Get a soft, smooth cloth (not terry, too rough), soak it and put it on the affected area (while still soppy). Let it stay several minutes, then wring it out, rinse it and apply it again. Do this a few times, hopefully it will soak out the nair from your skin. Pat (not rub) dry then apply Vitamin E oil (WITH mixed tocopherols)from a capsule you pricked with a clean pin/needle. The E should stop the discomfort, as well as begin the healing. If this doesn't get the clearing up started, get to a doctor fast before you wreck your skin. Ouch, delicate area, that. Sorry.

make sure you got all the nair off. this is a common side effect of it even though you haven't had problems before you can still have them. it could be your skin was dry or something. try a neosporin with pain relief if you have it or an aloe based lotion...make sure none of the lotions have alcohol or perfume's in them as they will make it sting worse. ice couldn't hurt either. it will take a few days for it to go away though.

You are probably allergic to this stuff so get an allergy test from your gp / doctor or stop using nair products. Place ice over the burn or rash and it should stop the stinging.

I would go and see a dermatologist immediately because over the counter medication may only provide temporary relief but not any healing for your rash. In the meantime, try Goldbond medicated cream and powder. I hope you get well soon.
